We are very pleased to announce that the next International Hearing-Aid Research Conference <\/a><\/strong>(<\/a>IHCON 2026<\/a><\/strong>)<\/a>\u00a0will be taking place August 5\u20139, 2026 <\/strong>(Wednesday to Sunday) at an exciting and beautiful new venue: The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity<\/a>\u00a0in Banff, Alberta, Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n The purpose of IHCON<\/a>\u00a0is to advance knowledge and facilitate progress in hearing-aid research and development through the exchange of current research findings and technical advances related to the treatment of hearing impairment with hearing aids and other technologies.<\/p>\n The organization of IHCON 2026, as with the previous IHCON meetings, will emphasize the international and multidisciplinary nature of the field and the rapid pace of developments occurring throughout the world. Both invited and contributed presentations will address topics relevant to hearing-aid research.<\/p>\n The members of the Technical Program Committee<\/a>\u00a0(Dr. Graham Naylor, Dr. Jason Galster, and Dr. Sarah Verhulst) have been working hard to develop the scientific program and are currently in the process of finalizing the list of invited speakers. The topic areas for IHCON 2026 are available to view here<\/a>. Once the invited speakers are finalized, we will post updated information about the technical program in the \u201cConference Info\u201d tile of the ihcon.org <\/a>website.<\/p>\n To foster research by junior investigators (e.g., advanced graduate students, postdocs, and junior scientists) in industry and academia, the International Hearing-Aid Seminar <\/a><\/strong>(<\/a>IHAS 2026<\/a><\/strong>)<\/a>\u00a0will be held August 3\u20135, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0(Monday to Wednesday), also at the Banff Centre.<\/p>\n We will begin accepting abstract submissions for IHCON and IHAS<\/a>\u00a0in early 2026<\/strong>\u00a0(the specific starting date for submissions will be announced in a subsequent email). The final date for submitting abstracts will be April 1, 2026, and acceptance\/rejection emails will be sent by early June 2026.<\/p>\n Updates and additional details about the meeting will be posted to the various tabs within the \u201cConference Info\u201d section of the IHCON website (ihcon.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n
