The album, <em>Eclipse<\/em>, is <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prestomusic.com\/classical\/products\/9325438--eclipse#reviews\" target=\"_blank\">available now on Deutsche Grammophon<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>As American violinist <strong>Hilary Hahn<\/strong> states, &#8220;<em>Eclipse<\/em> is not just when it goes down, it&#8217;s also when the lights come back on.&#8221; Ms. Hahn had been preparing for months to perform and record with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and its music director, Andr\u00e9s Orozco-Estrada, when the Pandemic resulted in cancellations of all of their plans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hahn spent that time assessing her own relationship to music, and to performing it with colleagues, and now has emerged on the other side with a perspective that was earned through this shared, global experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How different do the works on <em>Eclipse<\/em> sound to her now, compared to before lockdown?
