The album marks the 1,000th release from the&nbsp;<strong>PARMA Recordings<\/strong>&nbsp;label group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.allclassical.org\/amplify-all-classical-portlands-rii-vol-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AMPLIFY&nbsp;is now available for purchase in the All Classical Portland Gift Shop<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 28, 2022, the station aired a special On Air CD Release Party, sharing the world premiere of music from&nbsp;AMPLIFY&nbsp;on the radio. This special program was hosted by <strong>Suzanne Nance<\/strong> and <strong>Adam Eccleston<\/strong>, and featured music from the album, interviews with <strong>Ra\u00fal G\u00f3mez-Rojas<\/strong> and All Classical Portland Artist in Residence <strong>Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda,<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/acp-website.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com\/uploads\/audio\/2022-10-28-13-43-37_89951.mp3\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Listen to the On Air CD Release Party on demand.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>All Classical Portland\u2019s Recording Inclusivity Initiative is a response to the classical music industry\u2019s longtime need for greater diversity, with the purpose of increasing awareness and opportunity for previously marginalized artistic communities. Including three pieces from living composers, and two posthumous works, the album was recorded at the&nbsp;<strong>NM Bodecker Foundation<\/strong>\u2019s Halfling Studios in Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"All Classical Portland - AMPLIFY\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0YryYZNUdcc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>A pre-release single,&nbsp;<em>A Spark and a Glimmer<\/em>&nbsp;by composer&nbsp;<strong>Lauren McCall<\/strong>&nbsp;was made available on&nbsp;<strong>Friday, October 21, 2022<\/strong>.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allclassical.org\/spotlights\/a-spark-and-a-glimmer-by-lauren-mccall\/\"><strong>Hear an exclusive snippet of Lauren\u2019s piece and learn more<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full album was released on&nbsp;<strong>Friday, October 28, 2022<\/strong>, and featuring works by All Classical Portland Composers in Residence&nbsp;<strong>Jasmine Barnes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Keyla Orozco<\/strong>, and McCall.&nbsp;AMPLIFY&nbsp;will also include two posthumous works by&nbsp;<strong>M\u00e9lanie H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Bonis<\/strong>&nbsp;(1858-1937) and&nbsp;<strong>Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson<\/strong>&nbsp;(1932-2004).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AMPLIFY\u2019s album cover artwork was created by&nbsp;<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/monicaobaga.co\/about\" target=\"_blank\">Monica Obaga<\/a><\/strong>, an illustrator and graphic designer focused primarily on producing artwork in support of women, the environment, and positive African media representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABOUT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Broadcasting from the heart of the Pacific Northwest,&nbsp;<strong>All Classical Portland<\/strong>&nbsp;is consistently ranked in the top three classical music radio stations in the United States.
